UMSI is a leading payment services provider with nearly three decades of experience in the payments industry. UMSI, recently ranked 48th U.S. Merchant Acquirer by Nilson report (Issue 1215, March 2022), is one of the largest privately held merchant acquirer in the ethnic payment processing market. UMSI has an exclusive license with Bluu, Inc., to enable UMSI to market and sell under the brand name, bluu™. UMSI and Bluu, Inc. complement each other by teaming up to provide innovative payment services and POS solutions, and the companies enjoy the combined synergy and expertise from related industries.
The branding effort under the name bluu™ signifies collective acknowledgement by the companies that the classic payments industry and POS marketplace have grown beyond the traditional boundaries. Bluu, Inc. intends on expanding its SaaS (“software-as-a-service”) platforms, introduce new hardware and software innovations, including data analytics, and tighten integration of POS solutions and payment services for a more seamless merchant experience. In addition, under the brand name bluu™, the companies intend to combine and realign internal resources to enhance and automate business support and financial services for merchant clients. Future plans of Bluu, Inc. include introduction of several new and innovative POS systems and credit card terminals to commemorate the name change.
